Fun fact: A single bee produces about 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey in its lifetime — which shows just how essential teamwork is within the hive.
On board an electro-solar boat, students explore the coastline with minimal environmental impact. Beneath the surface, they discover Posidonia seagrass — a vital ecosystem for marine life and coastal protection.
Through observation and simple data collection, they take part in meaningful experiential learning, linking action with awareness.
Fun fact: Posidonia isn’t seaweed — it’s a plant with roots, flowers, and fruits, and some meadows are thousands of years old.
After an introduction at Fort du Pradeau, students head into nature to take action. They identify and remove invasive species, helping restore local ecosystems.
This hands-on experience encourages them to become caring and active contributors, turning knowledge into impact.
Fun fact: Some invasive species can spread very quickly and disrupt entire ecosystems in just a few seasons.

Anecdote: For many participants, this is the first time they experience the sea again after an accident or illness — a moment that stays with everyone involved.
